Services Offered at Every Child, Inc.
Adoption: Children and families are assessed, prepared, and supported during the adoption process. Children are referred from child welfare.
Specialized Foster Family Care: A short-term transition before a child is returned to his or her birth family, or kin, or is placed into an adoptive family. Every Child values the special contribution of foster parents, and carefully prepares and supports these families.
Family Based Mental Health Services: Short-term, in-home therapy to stabilize families in crisis. Supportive approaches are designed to empower families toward positive change.
Family Focused Solution-Based Services: Innovative therapeutic service offered to families working with CYF. A Team Delivered Approach is used to enhance family functioning and stability.
Family Preservation: Referrals are received from CYF to work with families in crisis who have at least one child who is at imminet risk of placement. Staff and the family work together to stabilize the crisis and keep the family together.
Family Reunification: Referrals are received from CYF to work with families who have at least one child in out-of-home placement. Together, staff and family work to stabilize the home environment to aid in the child's transition back home, as well as provide after-care.
Medically-Related Wrap-Around: Families with children who are medically fragile receive support, resources, and education to gain confidence in caring for their child at home.
Health Infants for Pregnant Teens and Women: Staff, who are also trained as Doulas, support women and teens with disabilities and special health care needs. Support continues throughout their pregnancy and the first year of their baby's life.
Post Adoption Support Services: Once a child's adoption is finalized, Every Child provides an array of supportive services to the family for as long as it is needed through the Pennsylvania Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN).
